DESCRIPTION:Info- Race Regulations\nGeneral Information\n1. This event is being organized by the Agones Sfc\, under the auspices of the Malta Cycling Federation and shall be held in accordance with the Rules & Regulations of the Malta Cycling Federation.2. This event is open to all cyclists registered and licensed with the Malta Cycling Federation as well as registered students of the cycling clubs \n3. Cyclists are to use race numbers as assigned to them by the Malta Cycling Federation and are required to use 2 back numbers and one clearly visible bike frame number. Riders of various categories may also be asked to wear a hand band with distinctive colours to help the organisers. \n4. All riders are to have their timing chip set on their bikes as instructed by the MCF. DUE TO THE TIMING SYSTEM SET UP NO PARTICIPANTS CAN BE ON THE RACE ROUTE OR CLOSE TO THE START AND FINISHING LINE UNLESS THEY ARE RACING. Riders that cross the line while they are not racing or warm up on the racecourse before their race will automatically be detected by the system and marked as NON STARTER. \n5. Conventional ‘CE’ Approved helmets are to be worn during warm-up and throughout the event. \n6. Cyclists who have finished competing in the race should refrain from cycling on the race circuit. \n7. Cyclist are NOT ALLOWED to warm up or cycle on the circuit unless they are competing. \n8. Lapped cyclists have to retire from the race and must do so immediately on being advised. Reframing from retiring may cause the race director to suspend the whole cycling team.\n9. Team vehicles shall not be allowed on the circuit although a nominated event safety car/motorcycle may be allowed on the circuit. \n10. Cyclists are not to approach the Timekeepers table for results. Each club should designate a club delegate to help on the finish line if need be. \n11. If a cyclist has a grievance or complaint\, the cyclist should advise his/her Club Delegate who should forward the grievance/complaint to the organizers through the proper channels. \n12. Cyclists must obey all instructions given by race officials or marshals and failure to obey such instructions and these regulations may result in disqualification. The RACE DIRECTOR has the final say. \n13. Cyclists or cycling club are to apply by filling in the event form at www.agnes-sfc.eu/events \n15. The Organizers shall announce provisional results on the day and presentation will be held as soon as the race of each category is over. Cyclists who fail to be present for the presentation may lose the right to receive the trophy. Official results will be posted on the agones sfc website. \nAs of this year we will also be including a 10km time trial event for those not registered with sport Malta and have cycling insurance as well as a fun obstacle course for u10 athletes. \n16. A small memento shall be presented to all U’12s\nCriterium Format\n• The Race fee is follows\n5 euro – Fun obstacle course u10\n10 euro – Under 12\n15 Euro – Under 14\n20 euro – Rest of categories \n• This event shall be held on Saturday 5th February at 12.30 pm at Hal Far Race Track. Cyclists in different categories have the following laps and time to complete the race as detailed hereunder: \nCyclists under 12 – 2 + 1 lap\nCyclist under 14 – 3 + 1 lap\nLadies\, Master 40 +\, Under 16\, Master 50 +\, masters 60 + – 30 minutes + 3laps\nJuniors\, Elite Cyclists – 35 mins + 3 laps\nSport Category – 10km Time Trial (Time Trial Bikes Allowed) \n• The route is a loop of 2km. \n• Race route shall be closed for vehicular traffic accept for emergency services \n• For more information please visit our event page.\nBelow please find the time for the various predicted starting times for the various categories. Please make sure you are at the starting line at least 30 minutes before your designated start. Starting times are just an approximation. \n• Sport Category Time Trial – 12.00\n• Under 12 – 13.00pm\n• Under 14- 13.30pm\n• Under 16\, Ladies\, Masters 40+\, juniors\, Masters 50+\, Masters 60+ – 14.00pm\n• Juniors\, Elite -15.00pm. \nIn the eventuality of bad weather\, the Race director will decide if the race will be cancelled 15 minutes prior to the start of each category. DESCRIPTION:Black Energy’ National XCountry Triathlon Championship 2022\nGeneral Information\nNational XCountry Triathlon Championship 2022 is organised by Agones Sfc under the auspices of the Malta Triathlon Federation. \nThe event will be held on the 7th August 2022. \nStart 7.00am. (Bike check in closes at 6.30am\, briefing at 6.45am) \nStart and Finish will take place at Marsascala\, Zonqor Point \nThe race is on a sprint distance with the\ndistance being 750m swim (approx.)\, 16km Bike (4 loops)\, 4km Run (2 loops.) \nIn case of rough sea the event will be changed into a duathlon with the swim being replaced by a 2km run (1 loop) \n\nFees for this event are;\nClub members €30  \nIndividual €35  \nRelay Team €45 \nKids €20 \n  \nA briefing will be held on the day of the race 15 minutes prior to the Start. \nThe triathlon is valid for the TOYT point system. \nRoute will be closed to traffic\, but farmers and residents will be able to access the route. Please make sure you DO NOT PARK along the route. Cars parked along the route WILL BE TOWED AWAY. \nThere will be on water station at the Running turn around. \nIn order to help the organisers and to make sure we leave the place clean we encourage everyone to throw the cups/bottles and papers in the bins which will be placed along the route. Failing to do so may incur into time penalty. \nHelmet and swimming cap are obligatory and athletes cannot compete with a bare chest (concessions can be made for the swim) \nTrophies will be given to the first three overall finishers (Male & Female) and 1st placed in each age group. A commemorative token will be given to all the other participants. \nThere will also be a 4km Fun Run that starts at 6.30am and Kids & Youth Races (Categories and distances according to the Malta Triathlon Federation Rules and Regulations) \nRace and participation is subject to permits from the authorities\, sport Malta and Mtf Protocols. SUMMARY:The Adventure Race
DESCRIPTION:General Information\n\n• The Race is being organized by the Agones Sfc supported by Eurosport Malta and powered by Adidas TERREX.\n• The aim of the race is for everyone to enjoy themselves doing some outdoor activities. Winner of the various categories (Male/Male\, Female/Female\, Male/Female) will be awarded a prize. Prize will be given out during the club’s annual presentation night in November. All participants will be given a commemorative shirt and a token.\n• The race is divided into 4 sections. Trail run/Trekking (4km)\, Cycling (MTB cross-country) (8km + 8km)\, Canoeing (provided by organisers) ( 1km ) and Obstacle Course (300m). All participants are required to do all the events.\n• The winner of the event will be the team that concludes the 4 stages in the least time possible. (Transition time between Mtb and Canoeing will not be taken into consideration although a maximum of 10 minutes transition time is allowed)\n• The race will start at 6.00am\, as soon as sun rises. Starting times will be posted on Facebook. Transition and Registration area are situated behind Scout Campsite in Golden Bay. Race officials will be there from 4.00 am onwards. Be at the start at least 30 minutes before you actual starting time.\n• Each team is composed of 2 members. Every team will be notified of the starting time days prior to the race since it will not be a mass start. There will be 5 minutes between each team. Starting times will be given on a first come first served bases depending on when the application form is received.\n•Please do not ask for your finishing times or for your placings on the day. Life Jacket is compulsory\, \nTeam Gear\n• Cell phone and method of waterproofing\n• Personal First Aid Kit \nAgones Sfc ‘Adventure Race’ Rules  \nIntroduction\nThese rules are written to ensure the safety and integrity of the Adventure Race. The rules are enforced by the Adventure Race staff and volunteers. \nPrior the start of race.\nEach team must have hand in the necessary forms prior to the start of the race (Disclaimer\, Application form) \nTeams must be at the starting line at least 30 minutes prior to their scheduled times.\nIf a team is late at the starting time the teams start will be rescheduled and their start will be put at the bottom of the list with a 15 minute penalty. \nProtests\nA member of the race team can make any protests after completion of the race to the race director. After submission of the protest form\, the RD will consult with the race advisory committee. All decisions by the race advisory committee are final. All protests must be turned at the finish line. All decisions will be made final within 1 hour of the course closing. \nHelping Others\nTeams are permitted to help each other during the race. Teams may be awarded a time bonus for helping other teams in need. \nRules\, by penalty \nDisqualification\n• Failure of a team to pass through each checkpoint according to the directions.\n• Using a mode of travel other than the one specified for each leg\n• Any travel other that human powered travel\n• Use of ANY electronic device other than watches\, altimeters\, and bike computers.\n• Littering on the course\n• Traveling within prohibited and/or private land areas\n• Arriving more than one hour late at the starting line\n• Disobeying instructions from a race official\n• Disobeying instructions not to advance\n• Unauthorized road/trail travel\n• Non-assistance to a person in danger\n• Not wearing or improperly wearing a life jacket in the boat\n• Not wearing a helmet while on the bike\n• Violation over the identity of a competitor or change of a team member during race\n• Removing/altering a punch device\, trail sign or marking\n• Assistance by anyone not in the race outside of the TA (directional assistance ok)\n• Not using safety gear when directed to by race management\n• Teammates not staying within 100 meters of each other\n• Picking up and dropping off gear in a place other than at designated Transition Areas or gear drop/pickup\n• Missing mandatory gear.\n• Race Bib/number must be worn on outside of clothing at all time \n\n\nFEE : €70 per team.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\nAPPLY NOW\n

DESCRIPTION:  \nhe ‘Rock & Run’ is aimed at making running fun by infusing the 5k course with live bands\, cheer teams and more. The focus is on delivering a unique experience to those taking part in this event. The ‘Rock & Run’ is an event\, were music and the community are the heart of the event. We want participants to feel like they are part of something bigger than themselves. We promise to bring a unique mixture of music\, great runner experience and community engagement every step of the way. \nThe event combines running\, music\, gastronomic and cultural entertainment in a great atmosphere for participants\, spectators\, locals and foreigners alike. In collaboration with local businesses the race will include Live bands\, Dj’s\, themed water stations at every km marker\, turnaround point and village/town attraction. The event will include a main stage that will set the vibe prior to the start\, greet the athletes at the finish and conclude the event with a headliner concert free for all the runners and public. \nWhether the participants will choose to run or simply walk the distance\, they will be rewarded with an exclusive custom-made finishers medal. DESCRIPTION:Another year has gone by and it’s time for another presentation night. This is the night were Agones SFC presents all the awards\, of all the events that were held during the year\, as well as handing out awards to club members who have excelled in the various categories. \nIt is the yearly event were club members\, families and friends celebrate together another year of challenges and successes along with club sponsors and committee in the name of sport. \nAs a club we celebrate everyone’s achievements\, whether as individuals\, as a group or as winners of the various events we organize. \nWe relax and enjoy an eve amongst a brotherhood of athletes and friends\, who form part of the same family built on the passion for the love of sport. \nThe night where we listen to stories\, the evening when we realize what an amazing journey this year has been\, the night where we comprehend even more what Agones is all about. \nWe will be organizing the event at CARGO RESTAURANT (one of our main sponsors) at the Birgu Waterfront. \nPrice for the event is €25 for adults and €10 for kids (under 10).\nThe menu is a set menu. For this reason\, this year you will need to book and pay online via Internet Banking\, Pay Pal (agnessportsclub@gmail.com) or Revolut (99821120) through the button below by the 30th October. \nIMPORTANT NOTE: A list of prize winners will be posted on the Facebook page and in the club members group. SUMMARY:Malta Mountain Bike Challenge
DESCRIPTION:The Malta Mountain Bike Challenge\, is endorsed by the Malta Mountain Bike Association\, supported by Magri Cycles and organized with the aid of ERA\, Mellieha LC and Qrendi LC\, is the only multi-stage mountain bike race in Malta and is set to become an international event in the coming years. The event is composed of 3 stages. A time trial\, a criterium and an endurance race. \nThe event is aimed for both professional and amateur cyclists who wish to challenge themselves in a multi-stage mountain bike race along the most beautiful and enchanted trails on the island. Whether you are a novice or an Elite cyclist we guarantee you will enjoy it. \nAll riders that apply will be given a free t-shirt\, customized race number\, a pair of customized socks and a chunky customized finisher medal. \nTop 3 winners of each category will be awarded winners medals at the end of every stage. SUMMARY:BEAT THE LIFT
DESCRIPTION:  \nAn exciting new challenge brought to you by Agones Sfc. The rules are simple! Run\, walk and crawl up the ‘Barrakka Lift Tower’ staircase as fast as possible. The fastest athlete to climb up the 20 storey tower is declared the winner. \nThe challenge will be divided into 2 main categories\, ‘Free Run’ were the athlete runs up the 282 stairs without any additional weight and ‘Added Weight Run’ category\, were the athlete has to carry a normal size car tyre provided by the organizers with him/her up the 58-meter high tower.  There will also be special prizes for the different weight categories. \nAthletes who opt to take part in the different weight categories will be weighed on the day prior to the start. Athletes who do not want to be weighed on the take can take part in an open category. \nThe race will take place in a time trial format\, were an athlete leaves every minute. The starting line up will be determined according to the application entry (time and date). \nApplication can be found below. \nAll participants will go home with a participation token.
